Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 September 2026
Zanostack is in active development and has not yet launched. This Privacy Policy therefore applies to the Zanostack website (www.zanostack.tech, the "Site") and the contact and interest forms on it — not to any downloadable product, account, or paid service, none of which exist yet. When our products launch, this policy will be updated to explain how they handle personal information.
1. Who We Are
Zanostack ("we", "us", or "our") is an AI-native office suite — spanning documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs, and the business workflows around them — that is currently in development. Zanostack is founded and operated by Branten Konyana. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information through the Site.
2. Information We Collect
Contact and interest form submissions. When you submit a message through our contact or interest forms, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, and message — so that we can respond to you and, if you have asked us to, keep you informed as our launch approaches.
Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used, with IP addresses anonymised. This includes page views, approximate location, device and browser type, and traffic sources. Analytics data is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies and local storage. Google Analytics may use cookies and browser storage to distinguish sessions and measure aggregate website usage. The Site does not currently store a separate analytics-consent preference. See section 9.
Hosting and server logs. The Site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, request time, and page requested) for security and operational purposes.
We do not collect payment details, account credentials, or the contents of any documents or spreadsheets, because the Site does not offer these features.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to enquiries and interest submissions
- To follow up with people who have asked to be notified about the launch
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used and to improve its content
- To keep the Site secure and operating reliably
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Legal Basis (POPIA)
Zanostack processes personal information in accordance with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Form submissions are processed on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form. Analytics data and server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the Site. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (see section 13).
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services, which may process personal information on our behalf:
- Vercel — hosts the Site and generates standard server logs
- Google (Google Analytics) — website analytics (anonymised page views and traffic data)
- FormSubmit — delivers contact and interest form submissions to us
Each of these services is subject to its own privacy policy and data processing terms. If other services are added when our products launch, this policy will be updated accordingly.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Contact and interest form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to handle your request and, where you have asked to be notified of the launch, to contact you when products become available. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing branten@zanostack.tech. We will process deletion requests within 30 days of receipt and confirm once complete.
Analytics and server log data is retained in accordance with the standard retention settings of Google Analytics and Vercel, and is not used to identify you individually.
7. Your Rights
Under POPIA (and, where applicable, other data protection laws), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at branten@zanostack.tech.
8. International Transfers
Vercel, Google, and FormSubmit operate globally and may process information — including form submissions, analytics data, and server logs — outside South Africa. Where information is transferred or processed in another country, we rely on the safeguards these providers offer under their data processing terms.
9. Cookies and Local Storage
Google Analytics may use cookies and browser storage to distinguish sessions and measure aggregate site usage. The Site does not currently provide or remember a separate analytics-consent preference. You can clear or block cookies and site data through your browser settings; doing so will not prevent you from browsing the Site.
10. Children's Privacy
Zanostack is intended for professional and business use and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when our products launch. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of Zanostack after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
12. Information Officer (POPIA)
