Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 May 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Zanostack ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Zano Sheets (the "Add-in") or visit www.zanostack.tech (the "Site").

1. Information We Collect

Account, setup, and contact forms. When you submit your name, email address, job title, and other details through our account, setup, or contact forms, we collect that information to process your request and communicate with you.

Spreadsheet data. The Add-in processes the contents of your active workbook in order to respond to your queries. In public mode, workbook-derived context that you choose to send may pass through our managed API proxy before being forwarded to the selected AI provider. We do not use workbook contents to train models, and we do not intentionally store spreadsheet contents after processing a request.

AI provider requests. Queries you submit inside the Add-in are sent to third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) to generate responses. These providers operate under their own privacy policies. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Usage data. We may collect anonymised telemetry (error reports, feature usage counts) via Sentry to diagnose issues and improve the product. We also use Google Analytics to collect anonymised website usage data (page views, traffic sources). This data does not include the contents of your workbooks.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf:

Each of these services is subject to its own privacy policy and data processing terms.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Account, setup, and contact form data is retained for as long as necessary to manage your access or support request. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing branten@zanostack.tech. We will process deletion requests within 30 days of receipt and confirm once complete. Note that anonymised telemetry data (which cannot be linked back to you) may be retained beyond this period for product improvement.

Anonymised telemetry is retained for up to 90 days.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

Zano Sheets is intended for professional and business use and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at branten@zanostack.tech.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of Zano Sheets after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
