Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Zano Sheets (the "Add-in") or www.zanostack.tech (the "Site"), operated by Zanostack ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the Add-in, or by accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Zano Sheets is an AI-powered Microsoft Excel Add-in that allows users to interact with their spreadsheet data using natural language. Public mode uses account sign-in and managed access so users do not need to bring their own provider API keys. Features, pricing, and availability may change as the product evolves.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent. Zano Sheets is intended for professional and business use.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Add-in or Site to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Process data you do not have the right to access or share
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Add-in
• Probe, scan, or test the security of our systems
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content through the Add-in
• Resell or sublicense access to the Add-in without prior written consent

4. Account Access

Public-mode access requires a Zano Sheets account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. We may apply reasonable quotas, rate limits, or abuse-prevention controls to keep the service reliable for all users.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Add-in, Site, and their content — including software, design, and branding — are owned by Zanostack. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Add-in.

You retain all ownership rights to the spreadsheet data and content you process through the Add-in. By using the Add-in, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your data solely to the extent necessary to deliver the service.

6. Third-Party AI Providers

The Add-in relies on third-party AI services (including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others) to generate responses. We do not control the output of these services and are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated responses. You are responsible for verifying any output before acting on it.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Add-in and Site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Add-in will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zanostack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Add-in or Site — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Add-in or Site after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
